certainly some respectable selections there fishtown. personally, i narrowed things down to a winning top three.
my criteria included an initial judgement, based solely on appearance from multiple photographs of the contestants. this allowed me to eliminate certain women with unredeemable traits such as severely needed orthodontal work, a nice chub gut, etc. that left me with a field of 5 girls. jolie, and pheonix were still in it.
at this point i reviewed the tapes. although performance was a major factor this time, all of my selections excelled, so i was forced to go back to a purely visual criterea. my selections won based on what i thought were their superior attractiveness over their competition as well as an exhibited ability to perform excellently. here are the winners:

good topic. personally, i find "sexy" is somewhat of an intangible/undefinable concept in that many things are alluring to me and some things that i find alluring i also find sexy. sometimes i'm even surprised at what i find attractive. you example of electronic communication is a good example of this type of situation.
to be honest, i thought you were bullshitting when you emailing me that aim and cell phones were sexy to you. i was actually just thinking about aim and cell phones as well as other technological and new electronic or simply modern communication in the context that although they've signifigantly impacted the ease of staying in touch today, they've also detracted in many ways from the personability of interpersonal relations in some cases. it's an issue of connectivity vs. intimacy and for an person like myself to whom sentimentality comes into play and champions intimacy.
all this said, i find letter sexy and postcards VERY sexy. personal experience lends itself to individual connotations of different forms of communication so i think it's relevant that like everyone thinks different people are sexy it seems obvious we'll all have varied ideas about aim vs postcards being sexy. at the end of the day a good rule of thumb for me is that if someone uses anything to come across caringly or alluringly then it can be sexy. when some the same person contacts me with a less alluring message via a method like a homemade card in a homemade envelope complete with a picture or nice penmanship, that stands to be even sexier than the previous, sexier message sent via less sexy means. a lot of the time we are into what we like - aka a girl that knows good music might be able to turn me on faster than britney spears can. there's def. the X factor though. opposites and random shit attract too.
anyway, i follow you this far and find this to be an interesting subject. i'm esp. interested for some other fags to get on here and say what's sexy to them since we're all at school now and we created this board to communicate in the present situation. WHERE YOU AT BITCHES?!
lastly, there are several things that are alluring to me in the way an upstairs bathtub is to you. i'm racking my brain for best examples. unforunately there haven't been many people turning me on recently, so it's hard to reminisce about and remember some of the small things.
